Repertoire

Our repertoire stretches back to the earliest Gospel Songs, recorded at the beginning of the 20th Century and explores the influence this music had on the Civil Rights Movement in America. We're inspired by legendary artists such as Mahalia Jackson and The Staple Singers; as well as less well known figures such as Blind Willie Johnson and Sister Rosetta Tharpe. These artists performed songs that can trace their origins to the 19th Century and possibly earlier. They've been adapted many times to suit different performers and we continue that tradition with our own arrangements of these classic songs.

We also do plenty of secular, popular music and this represents about half of our repertoire. Regardless of song choice, our sound draws on the Gospel tradition and all of the songs work well together in a performance. All of our music is chosen to uplift and inspire you. Our repertoire is constantly evolving but this list will give you an idea of the range of music we perform.
